MINI have posted this photograph of the R50 being tested in 1999/2000.
When punched into the DVLA, we see it registered as a Rover Mini on 15th November 1999.
All that’s to be expected.
What’s interesting is the engine capacity: 1588cc.
That’s not a Tritec. That’s a K-Series 😉
