Man, I think that new "Twisters" movie sucked. Literally nothing I liked about it, and I love the OG Twister movie. I still can't tell if it's a sequel, remake, takes place in the same universe, or is completely unrelated and just coincidentally shares a similar name.
Aside from Dorothy being mentioned like one time at the start of the movie, there is no relation to the original movie. Lacks any charm the original had, the characters were forgettable aside from Glen Powell's character being the only one I somewhat liked, the acting was dreadful, the story was nonsense.
The effects were somehow even worse than Into the Storm which I thought were worse than Twister. A movie from 2024 has worse effects than one made in 1996.
Here's a little spoiler, not that I recommend watching this movie, Kate (the main character) is the key to everything, literally a wizard. Somehow she can perfectly predict where a tornado will be, how long it will be on the ground for, where it will turn, how to literally make a tornado disappear, EVERYTHING. Of course all the other characters validate her, saying how amazing she is every chance they get. Her only flaw is that she has PTSD but that stops being a thing little over halfway through.
You could argue Bill Paxton's character... Bill could do some shenanigans too, being able to predict tornadoes locations, but that's more instinct than anything and the most "crazy" it gets is when he was right about where the F3 tornado was POSSIBLY going to be, even then he had a whole team backing him up to find the tornado.
Kate doesn't need a team, she could do it all by herself. I did think it was hilarious when she agreed to get under a freaking overpass at the start of the movie. Yeah she's really intelligent...
I would talk about something else in the movie but she's literally the only important character in it, unfortunately. I might make a video about this movie eventually, because I love the original Twister movie so much and this new movie was just so disrespectful with how bad it was.
Again, this is all my opinion, it's made a lot of money and has pretty positive reviews so maybe I'm alone in this. I just feel like this was made by people that couldn't resist but use a cult classic movie to try to make a buck.

I've come up with a streaming schedule (kinda). I'm terrible at keeping schedules, but I'll try it anyway.
Next main stream game: Haunting Ground
Going to try to begin that game this Saturday if possible (as long as my ps2 holds up).
Skyrim will be off and on randomly until complete.
Dead by Daylight will be off and on randomly until the end of this month (or longer if I enjoy streaming it).
The main game after Haunting Ground is complete will be my personal favorite video game. I'll give you a hint, it's a freakin Wii game.
I'm going to try to stream more and be organized, be proud of me daum it.

I'm not good about making and sticking with a schedule, but f*ck it, I'm going to give it a shot. I'm gonna stream more Gears of War 3, maybe finish it in one more setting. Then I'm going to start up Demon Souls (remake) and try it out as I've only played the original a very long time ago. I'll sprinkle some Pokemon Infinite Fusions every now and again.
For Halloween this year I'm gonna replay something real good, Haunting Ground (as long as my old beast of a playstation 2 still works that is), normally I don't get festive for that holiday, but f*ck it, it's a great game. After that I'm planning on busting out the good old Nintendo Wii for a game that is near and dear to my heart, but that's a ways off, I'm sure I'll forget all of this and do something completely different because I'm a f*ckin idiot.
