I am pleased to release later today, Episode 1 of a brand-new segment, Extra Sassy. Extra Sassy is intended to answer those frequently asked questions and comments that I receive regularly. There could only be one topic of discussion for Episode 1 and that is my tarot decks. I know...finally π I only get inquiries about my decks on the daily but in order to answer those deck-based questions, I wanted to do a thorough job. Anything worth doing, etc. I went over their pros and cons and why these decks are my go-to for the channel. It's an informal review based on my experiences with the decks, and my preferred shuffling practices. The characteristics I look for in a deck stems from my point of view in working with clients and media, not so much personal tarot deck use. Regardless, I hope this helps you.

But first, the December Mid-Month will be available this Sunday, the 17th. I will also take this moment to note, Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year. I do not anticipate there will be much viewership for the Sunday Shuffle. However, I will deliver a shortened check-in message, much like the mid-month, as I value being there for you. Hey Sassy Fam!
Just to let you know, there will be no Short Sesh messages (#shorts) out today, Friday. As I've explained before, the #shorts are nice but are not a priority for the channel, and thanks to tech shenanigans, the week just got away from me. I updated some pretty large software for both laptop and camera, resulting in data delays and storage issues. It's all been sorted π

I am so pleased to share with you, Comments will be turned back on *(full-time)* as of July 16th, just in time for the Mid-Month Check-In!!! I am equally pleased to announce the successful onboarding of my part-time ghost moderator, Al, whose sole job is to moderate Comments so I don't have to π π₯³ π₯ I look forward to working with Al who will help keep our Comments Community in healthy standing, weeding out - ferociously, I might add - the scam, spam, trolls, and people who are generally full of malcontent and poor spirit, incapable of following the basic rules of collective readings (refer to ANY Description Box for a list of collective reading rules).

FUNDRAISER / PRIVATE READINGS UPDATE
I have received *hundreds* of emails regarding the fundraiser for the non-profit organization, Cine Las Americas, typically held in June. To my wonderful subscribers, thank you all so much who expressed, and continue to express, so much fantastic support for such an amazing organization. And by extension, you show support to this channel as your bids for Private Readings indicate to me how much you value my work. Last year we raised just under 17K! 100% of the proceeds went directly to Cine Las Americas and their annual film festival, supporting their work in showcasing films made by Latinx, American Indigenous, and IberoAmerican filmmakers, voices traditionally underrepresented in the filmmaking community.

The YouTube algorithm giveth and the YouTube algorithm taketh. I have recently exited the "giveth" and entered the "taketh" stage. This is how it is. You ride waves of success and then you enter a slump. It's not a complaint, it's a fact. If you have a channel you have to reconcile yourself to this fact. Currently, YouTube has favored their latest investment: Shorts. I get it. That's the algorithm focus at present. And has inspired me to create some Shorts of my own, truly challenging myself to become less verbose ... trust me, it took a minute π As in intimacy, as in real life, I don't know how to do ANYTHING in 60 seconds!!! π€£
In a way, I am grateful as it is getting me outside of my particular box and it's proving to be fun. My Shorts have not been released yet but I look forward to it. I am also hammering out concepts for "Dear Sassy" as discussed in the March Mid-Month. In the meantime I weather the lull.
I am bringing this up as my channel circulation is very low at the moment. For those of you who have asked, "where are the videos," that's what I'm speaking to. HOUSE BUSINESS
I have briefly mentioned an upcoming surgery. I'm finally getting that tricky, click-y, stiff left shoulder worked on. Due to an intense ice storm here in Texas, the surgery was rescheduled to Feb. 9th. I was prepared for this delay (I mean, hello) and knew to prepare messages in advance β‘οΈ ALL MESSAGES WILL RESUME AS NORMAL ON YOUTUBE β‘οΈ I work hard to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted schedule. The sign schedule is outlined in the Description Box.
MID-MONTH CHECK-IN
However, this does mean the mid-month check-in reading is getting pushed back to the 19th...assuming I am recovered enough to shuffle and move my arms with some moderate range. If not, then I'll have to skip it all together. And that's okay, what matters is recovery β€οΈ If I'm up for it (that's what he said) I might do some sort of post-Valentine's theme mid-month.
