The Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) provides infrastructure and promotes collaboration for Alzheimer's disease research and scientist training at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The center also educates research participants and the general public on the latest news and updates concerning Alzheimer’s disease research, care and brain health. Founded in 2009, the Wisconsin ADRC receives funding from private, university, state and national sources, including a National Institutes of Health/National Institute on Aging grant for Alzheimer’s Disease Research Centers (P30-AG062715).
The Wisconsin ADRC produces several educational series about Alzheimer's disease, including the Dementia Matters podcast, the Mind Readers book club, and Healthy Living with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), a support series for people and families living with MCI.
