Extreme Improvised Metal. The Grim Pilgrim is Dean Michael Johnson, a One-Man Band that originated as a Solo Act in April 2000. Dean's Band did not show up to a headlining Glg and He put on a Show with a Drum Machine, creating "Cerebral Fortress." This gave birth to unlimited possibilities to bring an absolutely 100% Improvised show.
The Grim Pilgrim is Original Music as Dean has never played anyone's material remaining a Musical Virgin. He also studied Music Composition but REFUSES to apply it to His playing. Limiting His ability to a 2 Chord structure and an unintentional Dorian dominant Scale. Always played Fast for aggression relief and then Slow for Heaviness to play fast again.
Always open to form a Band again but it would have to feature Dean as Lead as Dean does not play well with others, literally.
