I usually don't let the "Trolls" get to me and just block them but for some reason these last two particularly upset me. Maybe it was because their comments were directed toward my personal character, not complaints or whinging about "too many ads", "boring content", "bad narration", etc.

OK, I just had someone post a really hateful comment to me about being lazy (because I didn't make an itemized "contents" listing of chapters/story titles and their specific timeline locations), and greedy (because, according to him, I am obviously "making a lot of money" by uploading all these audiobooks), so I am really feeling disheartened and unappreciated right now.😢 I'm sitting here in tears and thinking I should just shut down this channel altogether.
This came soon after another comment about me being "ignorant" (in relation to using the oxymoron "handle" of Vigilante Justice).
I do this channel for the "feel good", and not for any other reason. If the "feel good" is gone, then I may as well quit.
I actually devote many "lazy" hours EVERY DAY in searching out books to download, downloading them, formatting them into YouTube "friendly" video files, creating appropriate playlists, and then uploading the books in their correct reading order into those playlists.
As far as making any monetary profit from this channel, I DO NOT! All DONATIONS are strictly VOLUNTARY and come nowhere even close to covering what I spend on purchasing books, let alone "paying" me for the time I put into this channel. In fact I had been doing it for over a year, and had gotten many queries about how to "donate", before I ever even put up a link for those voluntary donations.
I am not asking and never have asked for anyone to send me any money unless they wanted to do so and could afford to do so. I only put up the links in response to the requests people had made, and not to "guilt" anyone or make them feel like I was demanding anything.
Thank you everyone who responded with kindness, praise, and good wishes. I really appreciate you saying what I already knew. Truly, I wasn't really "fishing" for complements, I was just feeling sorry for myself over the meanness of some people when I'm just trying to feel good by adding a little pleasure to life. And yes, it does make me feel better to know that so many people do appreciate my efforts to make life better for others. I did block both of the jerks, but I did let them get under my skin too much, and that's not my usual reaction to those kind of people.
