By popular demand I have added the Hydrofarm Active Aqua planters to my store. They come in packs of 3, 5 and 10. They truly are the best planters I've ever personally used, especially for venus flytraps and Sarracenia. Feel free to go and check them out! Last couple days have been chaos, thank you again to everyone who has ordered some soil. I still have soil available, it's also listed at the store. It's my first time selling a physical product, so getting orders ready to ship is all new to me. Learning the process but so grateful for all of you!

Hey everyone, the store has been live all day. Thank you to everyone who has ordered today! What a special community and group of people! I've sold more than I expected, and I'm down to only 3 Two Quart bags left and 7 One Quart bags. I'm currently trying to make more, but as of right now, that's all I have! Plenty of planters left. Check out the soil and kits below!

Hello everyone, had to share real quick. If you are in the market for a great grow bulb or light for your carnivorous plants, Sansi is having a big sale right now. Much of their inventory is 30% to 70% off. Check out the links below to see what great grow light options Sansi has! You can see I'm using their 36w bulb for my timelapse video I'm shooting right now. I've been using Sansi for years, their lights are high quality and last for a very long time. You can see how I've used them in my past videos. I recommend a 24W for 1 to 2 plants. The 36W for up to 6 plants. Those are loose guidelines, if you have any questions fire away below!

**Important Message From Carnivorous Plants Hub, Please Read**

Hello Everyone! I wanted to take a moment and share some things. This is a bittersweet post as I have some good news and some not so great news. I'll deliver the good news first as it kind of sets up the bad news. This is kind of a long post, but I strongly encourage you to read through it as it's something that is important for me to address.

I'll share my news here in a moment but I wanted to say this first real quick. I've worked so hard on this channel over the last 3 years. August 17th was actually my 3 year anniversary since I published my first video. I've had a full time job and a full time family this entire time. I have three kids, two of which play travel basketball and one that I just dropped off at college a week ago. They and my wonderful and supportive wife are now and always will be my top priority. I usually work on my YouTube channel when everyone else is sleeping. I've spent MANY nights working until 3 or 4 AM just to get a video edited and ready to publish. It's been a bumpy ride at times but I've learned so much and have met so many wonderful people.

The good news is, a couple of my shorts have recently exploded and have been getting a lot of views. This has exposed my channel and videos to a lot of people who are not really in the carnivorous plant circle. This is the best most amazing news I could have ever hoped for. One of my biggest goals with this channel is to help carnivorous plants become a common houseplant in as many homes as possible. I want to help people learn and understand them better. Reaching a broader audience has always been one of my top priorities. The photo in this post is mostly for attention but is a screen capture from the video that's going off right now. If you haven't had the chance to see the video, check it out, but first please keep reading.

With this attention coming from outside of the carnivorous plant community some people have been making some pretty disgusting claims. Apparently the initial CP is used for another very evil and disgusting thing. This is an if you know you know situation, if you don't know, I admire you and you are just like I was a couple months ago before someone had to explain it to me. I discourage you from even looking it up as its something you will find incredibly disturbing. This led to a small percentage of people to start commenting and leaving weird messages about my discount code CPHUB. So, I decided to change my code. The old code still works, CPHUB but going forward I will be advertising the code BUGEATER.

It seriously breaks my heart that the world we live in sees an abbreviation on a carnivorous plant channel and immediately their mind goes to one of the most horrible things possible. This is a small percentage of people but it's enough to have brought a negative context to some of my comment sections. I was stubborn at first, determined to keep my CPHUB code to try and change the culture around two simple letters. But, I can see the sick and twisted are too many. It's easier to just move away from that and try to avoid it and any negativity that comes with it.

I did want to take a moment though and thank all my wonderful subscribers out there. I've had many of you come to my defense and help me try to put these people in their place. It means so much to me! I just crossed the 23K subscriber mark and it's going up faster than it ever has before. My goal to open a nursery and share these plants with the world is inching closer and I just simply couldn't have done it without all of you.

I'm so excited for things to come, I just wanted to give a quick state of things that are happening. I'm hoping that many of you see this so I don't have to answer why the promo code changed.

Please like and comment on this post, the more engagement it gets the more people will see it and understand a little bit more about this channel.

Please do not ask what the letters mean as I want to avoid this topic of conversation all together. If you have any comments, questions or opinions, please express them as a comment below!
