The last part of the Banishers series is up tomorrow, I will need a day of mourning
Hey! I have a question - what is your favourite game of all time? I know it's hard to pick just one but I would love to hear yours and why it's your favourite? I'll start - The Last Of Us - because it was probably the first time I remember actually feeling emotional while playing a game. Right from the off, what happens to Sarah at the beginning just got to me and then how Joel and Ellie's relationship grew as the game goes on is just great to be a part of. It was the first time I thought a game was up to par with good movie levels of story telling.

Hey everyone, hope you're all well. I'm feeling flu-ey not recorded for a couple of days, will start again when I can.
I hope you are all kicking off 2024 in the manner it deserves! It's been a busy few weeks for me so far especially since my real-world job has been causing me all sorts of issues. The kind that justify my role mind you lol so it's all good. Some late nights at work (no I'm not cheating on you) has meant recording videos has been a little unpredictable and I am sorry, I always try to get one episode per day uploaded and queued for the following day. So apologies for the interruptions recently I hope it calms down soon so I can get in some decent playing/editing time! As always thank you all for your supreme support!
Houston! We may have a problem. After recording the latest Baldurs Gate episode (which will be up soon) I can't relaunch the game without it crashing. I will fix this once I figure out what's going on but episodes may be delayed. No one is crying harder than me right now about that lol
Man I've had a rough couple of days, only work and other real life stuff, but it's all good now - some emergency problems required some "troubleshooting". If you didn't know I'm a DevOps engineer by day (a caped crusader by night of course) and sometimes that means calls in the small hours or extended days. Doesn't happen often thankfully and it eats into my free time. Ironically it was a Google Cloud problem! Anyway, excuses inserted, I have a video for you tomorrow but Friday most likely not possible. Sorry.
I'm going to run a little experiment for a couple of months. A while back I disabled all mid-roll ads in my videos as I know how annoying they are when you just want to watch the video without interruption. I've temporarily re-enabled them, I am curious to see if it makes a difference to the mysterious "algorithm". I'm sorry for this. Hope it doesn't annoy you too much.

Oh and if you're interested, the channel name comes from the book/film "The Men Who Stare At Goats" a great story about self belief in the face of adversity. I hope there's no confusion. The "Men" means nothing - we all stare at games.
