Hi all. Due to issues with long covid, I am not going to be able to post weekly after I've gone through the remaining videos I've already filmed. I think I have 3 more lined up and then I am going to take a bit of a break. The long and short of it is that I need to plan out what energy I have so that I don't crash and YouTube is on the list of things I can cut back on.

Based on my tutorial viewership this week and a prior try with watercolor with me videos, I think I can safely say that my tutorial videos are a bit of a flop for the amount of effort that goes into them. No one is to blame here, I just want to let my viewers know that I won't be doing any more tutorials for the foreseeable future. It's strictly a decision based on the numbers. I often get requests for them from viewers and, even though I appreciate the interest, I don't have the time to film them if there isn't more interest. However, I do want to send out a thank you to those of you that left me such sweet comments on these videos! In any case, here is some fun watercolor fodder that I made in the current Fodder School Fodder Challenge. I'm already signed up for year 3 of Fodder School! So more show and tell videos are on the horizon.

Just FYI, after this week, my YouTube videos will be a little less frequent. I'm aiming for at least one video a week, but I'm going to see how that evolves. There are a couple of reasons for the change. My existing posting schedule of two days a week is getting hard to keep up with all of my other obligations. And, I've recently been diagnosed with something called Vocal Chord Disfunction. I didn't even know such a thing existed, but it has an effect like asthma (and, in my case, has been exacerbated by all of my Covid coughing). I recommend googling it if you want to know more--it's weird. In any case, I'm supposed to limit my talking when I can, and, if you haven't noticed, I tend to be pretty chatty on my videos. I'll keep you all posted if I need to readjust again. For now, I plan to post a video a week on Wednesdays.

Hi all, I did not have the luck of the Irish on St Patrick’s day and got Covid after avoiding it for 3 years. I could rant about the circumstances of getting Covid, but I won’t bore you with that. This is more of an FYI as to why I may be slower to answer comments for a while and miss posting some videos for a little while. I have plenty of videos filmed, I just don’t have the energy to upload them yet. Hopefully I’ll be able to recover quickly and be back in business soon. Stay healthy out there!
